Corpus Christi Mayor Henry Garrett officially proclaimed Tuesday, August 28, 2007 as "Corpus Christi International Airport Sky Cap Appreciation Day" in Corpus Christi. After the proclamation, Airport Sky Caps shook hands with members of the Corpus Christi City Council then headed back to the Airport for plaque dedications, gift basket presentations and a luncheon in their honor.
