Aircraft Emergency Exercise

Airport Triennial Exercise
Corpus Christi International Airport recently conducted a full scale Aircraft Emergency Exercise, involving dozens of local, county and state agencies, which is required by the Federal Aviation Administration in order to evaluate the effectiveness of the Airport's Emergency Plan (AEP).

School Tours 
Tours are scheduled twice each month on Fridays. Group size preferred is a maximum of 25 students no younger than first grade.

The Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce and the Corpus Christi International Airport recently hosted a Business-After-Hours Mixer on Wednesday, May 21st!

 

American Eagle gave a power point presentation about their AAdvantage and Business ExtrAA programs and also gave away two free airline tickets to one lucky attendee. In addition, the Coastal Bend Wildlife Photo Organization, the Corpus Christi Convention & Visitors Bureau, Ken Bridges Audio & Visual, Inc., the Coastal Bend Bays & Estuaries program and CCIA unveiled a new, permanent wildlife photo exhibit at CCIA.  Take a look.

P3 Hurricane Hunter Aircraft

P3 Hurricane Hunter

The National Weather Service in cooperation with the Corpus Christi International Airport recently hosted a "2008 Hurricane Awareness Tour."  The event presented more than 500 school children from around the area an opportunity to tour the famous P3 Hurricane Hunter aircraft.
